Olivia Dowd

I trained at the university of Southampton qualifying in 2002 with a degree in Podiatric medicine. I am a member of the society of chiropodists and podiatrists and HCPC registered. I have enhanced DBS clearance (Disclosure and Barring Service) formally called CRB (Criminal Record Bureau). https://www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check

Since qualifying I have worked within the NHS in London at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and The Royal Free Hospital both in routine podiatry and advanced wound care. I also currenlty work part-time for Hertfordshire Community Healthcare Trust NHS as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist where I specialised in 'high risk' feet and work in a a Diabetic Multidisciplinary Foot Team treating complex foot wounds. I also worked in private practice covering a range of foot problems.

I am keen to develop my skills and further learning. I regularly undertakes training to enhance my skills and keep my knowledge up to date.
